2.How to use UTC function?

  2.1 UTC on DVR GUI

      Connect the cam(with UTC function) to the DVR(with coaxial control) through video cable.

      Go to the menu of DVR– coaxial control

      Menu control:Click MENU/OK to the menu of cam;

      Lens control:Click the UP key to zoom out the lens of cam,and the DOWN key to zoom in,LEFT and RIGHT to manual focus.  

  2.2 UTC via browser

      Visit DVR through browser,then go to the PTZ control on the top right corner of web.

      Control the lens of cam:UP to zoom out and DOWN to zoom in,LEFT and RIGHT to manual focus  

  2.3 UTC via mobile APP(XMeye)

      Go to realtime video view,chose PTZ control fuction.

3. What size monitor should I be using?  

The correct size monitor depends on its use e.g. the number of images to be displayed at any given time, the viewing distance and the available space.

4. How to install video server and PTZ, alarm equipment?

The role of the head is to make a fixed camera rotation; and alarm equipment play a security role for the electronic switch generating short circuit and open signal. Once the signal is captured, the video server can generate a local alarm. The output signal can be a variety of target control; such as off-site linkage alarm, alarm signal remote transmission to the monitoring staff, causing the staff of the incident warning and can be based on the actual situation to make the corresponding alarm processing.

5.Can the Security DVR report an alarm?

How to choose power supply for your CCTV monitoring project?

There are three main methods to supply power for security cameras:

1. centralized power supply;

2. Point-to-point power supply;

3. POE ( Power Over Ethernet).

Some tips:

1. When you use many pieces of infrared camera, it is not recommended to use centralized power supply. Because the current is large when IR LED are working. Centralized power supply is hard to ensure all of IR LED working normally.

2. Using point-to-point power supply, you can save some cost of the cable. But it is no double that after-sales maintenance is a more difficult than centralized power supply.

3. When there are numbers of cameras and power supply distance is less than 100 meters, it is recommended to use PoE power supply. It is more convenient, but pay attention to the quality of power supply equipment and cable.
